She was predeceased by: her parents, Minnie Joyce and William Shropshire; her husband David Baker; and her sister Velma Hauser. She is survived by: her son W. David Baker of Portsmouth; her sister-in-law Mary Ann Ferguson of Kernersville, NC; and her extended family, Jennifer and Tim Frye of Chesapeake, VA.. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
