With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Sidney H. Harmon Jr. of Portsmouth, Virginia, who passed away on May 5, 2026 at the age of 68. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the vast expanse of eternity, Sidney shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Sidney farewell, his loved ones carry with them the precious gift of his memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
He was predeceased by: his mother Bernice Harmon (Pitt); and his brother Morris. He is survived by: his father Sidney Harmon Sr.; his children, Sidney, Vincent and Katelyn; his granddaughter Ariana; his siblings, Andreas, Cindy and Donta; his aunt Mary; and his uncle James. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, and lifelong friends.
