He was predeceased by: his parents, Gordon Vaughan and Elizabeth Vaughan; his siblings, Peggy McKinney and Charles Vaughan; and his great grandchild Audrey Fridley.
He is survived by: his wife Rita Staulcup Vaughan; his children, Dan (Shinta), Keith (Cielito) and Melanie Infantino (Tom); his grandchildren, Sarah Infantino Fridley (Charlie), Paige, Eli and Sofia Infantino; and his great grandchildren, Sebastian and Teagan Fridley.
During his career, he served as the Director of Personnel at the Portsmouth Redevelopment Housing Authority, City of Norfolk, MetLife, Colonial Williamsburg Foundation, Norfolk State, and retired from York County School Division.
