He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Dortch and Hazel Dortch; and his siblings, Sylvia Dortch, Nancy Gitt, Cathy Murden and Robert Dortch.
He is survived by: his wife Rhonda Dortch; his children, Beverly L. Dortch and Joan; his siblings, Diane Smith and Harry Dortch; his grandchildren, Brandon Copeland, Kristin Copeland, Taylor Copeland, Daray Dortch, Adron Dortch, Thomas White, Eli Claybaugh, Alexis Dortch, Sophia Dortch and William Dortch Jr.; his great grandchildren, Ciara Copeland, McKenna Luna, Jayce James, Jaylin Crowe and Paisley Copeland; and his pet Bailey. He is also survived by extended family members and friends.
Visitation will be held on Monday, June 16th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Pinecrest Baptist Church (209 Felton Rd, Portsmouth, VA 23701). A funeral service will be held on Monday, June 16th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Monday, June 16th 2025 at the Olive Branch Cemetery.
