He is survived by: his daughters, Tonia Thompson (Mark) of South Mills, NC and Melanie Makitra of Portsmouth, VA.; his granddaughters, Mallory Thompson and Jacqueline Thompson; his great grandchild Stella Barker; his siblings, Nancy Varner (Melvin) of North Cohocton, Mary Remchuk (Gary) of Howard, Marsha Davis of Cohocton, Catherine Sullivan of Murfreesboro, TN, Thomas Makitra (Donna) of Bath and Michael Makitra (Bonnie) of Hornell; and his close friend Eleanor Koch-Wright. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
