He was predeceased by: his former wife Brenda Wood; his wife Willie Grace Lunsford Chesnut; his stepchildren, Daryl and Dianne; and his daughter-in-law Phyllis Gregory.
He is survived by: his daughter Judieth Grace Scofield; his son-in-law Robert Scofield; his grandchildren, Leslie Scofield, Peter Scofield and Fred Gregory; his great grandchild Ernest J. Hilliker IV; his extended family, Mark Gregory, Edna Joan Zink and John Zink; and his granddaughter Debra Tucker.
In honor of Tom's battle with chronic lung disease, the family requests that donations be made in his memory to the American Lung Association in lieu of flowers.
