He was predeceased by: his parents, William Vaughan and Elizabeth Burrus Vaughan; and his wife Delia Vaughan. He is survived by: his close friend Susan Mansfield of Portsmouth, VA; his sister Christine Kay Walker (Steve) of Asheville, NC; his siblings-in-law, Harry Hassell (Doris) of Ashland, VA and Mary Lane of Washington State; and his cousins, John M. Vaughan of Suffolk, VA and Betty Vaughan of Winchester, VA. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews.
