She was predeceased by: her parents, Ballard James Rutherford and Lou Etta Long Rutherford; her husband David Anthony Turner; her siblings, Howard Maggard of Leon Rutherford, E. J, Everett Rutherford, David Rutherford, William Herbert Rutherford and Artemis Rutherford; and her sister-in-law Tina Rutherford.
She is survived by: her siblings, Stella Wood, Rosa South (Fred), Linda Sherfey (Gary), Sarah Cross, Gerald Rutherford (Treva) and Harold Rutherford; and her sisters-in-law, Evelyn Rutherford, Barbara Rutherford, Juanita Rutherford and Evelyn Darlene Rutherford. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews; and a host of other relatives and friends.
A graveside service was held on Saturday, July 12th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Dewey-Memorial Cemetery (9904 Badger Ln, Pound, VA 24279).
