She was predeceased by: her husband Richard Clyde Owens; her parents, James Luther and Calesta Powers (Hamilton); her sisters, Mabel Owens, Rita "Pansy" Mullins and Verda Mullins; and her great grandchild Emily Miller.
She is survived by: her children, Linda Jane Tompkins (Thomas) and Robert Owens (Jean); her grandchildren, Patrick Owens (Gina), Clyde Owens (Summer) and Clarisa; her sons, Michael Allan Owens (Liz), Celesta Tompkins, Larry Tompkins and Nicholas Owens (Carly); her great grandchildren, Carson Owens, Carlyle Owens, Richard Owens, Sadra Owens (Brian Hamilton), Patrick Miller, Jayse Miller, Timothy Powers and Ava Owens; her grandson Michael "Pooh" Owens; her niece Patty Counts; her brother William "Pig" Powers; and her close friends, Euna Vee Adams and Edith Dotson. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
