He was loved and cherished by many people including: his grandparents, Donnie, Rosalie Tompkins, Alvin and Anna Faye Mullins; his wife Gracie Tompkins (Tipton); his children, Emily Tompkins (Marx Gore) and Thomas Tompkins; his mother Colleen Stanley (Guy Akers); his siblings, Deneka Mullins (Jimmy Kimberlin), Travis Dutton, Ashley Stanley (India) and Little Ricky Mullins (Amber); his stepfather David Stanley; his uncle Guy Akers; his friends, Jeff Elkins and Wesley Stanley; and his nieces and nephews, Kyleigh and Cooper Dutton.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to Baker Funeral Home for funeral expenses.
