She was predeceased by: her parents, Creed Adkins and Elizabeth "Lizzie" Adkins (Hopson); her daughter-in-law Sheila Adkins; her granddaughter Crystal Adkins; and her siblings, Mobie, Oakley, Lena Mae, Betty Ruth, Freeman, Fon, Junior, DeLoil, Loil James and David.
She is survived by: her sons, Darrell Adkins-Kingsport and Dwayne Adkins; her great grandchild Kristen Robinson (Justin); and her great great grandchildren, Miley, Piper, Amelia and Gunner. She is also survived by 20 nieces, 13 nephews; and a host of extended family.
