He was predeceased by: his parents, James Stevans and Mary Lynn Stevans (Adams); and his sister-in-law Melinda Stevans. He is survived by: his wife Nina Stevans (Harris); his children, Rebecca Mullins (Josh), Megan Dawn Clark (Marcus), James Aaron Stevans (Logan) and William Matthew Stevans (Megan); his grandchildren, Aiden James Stevans, Ender Stevans, Ava Stevans, Tessa Gilliam, Jamison Clark, Dean Mullins, Valerie Mullins and Cameron Stevans; his daughter-in-law Heather Stevans; his siblings, Anetta Webb (Jim) and William Stevans (Kelly); his sister-in-law Milinda Stevans; and his close friends, Greg Hollon, Troy Collier, Tracy Walker, Derek Matney, Kelly Boyd, Marcus Dotson and Mike Robinette. He is also survived by friends who now face life missing the steady presence of the man they called Dad, Papaw, brother, and friend.
Visitation was held on Saturday, May 23rd 2026 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM. A funeral service was held on Sunday, May 24th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Baker Funeral Home Chapel (11316 Riverside Dr, Pound, VA 24279).
