He was predeceased by: his parents, James Davis (Boog) and Maxie Davis. He is survived by: his wife Rhonda Davis; his children, Brittany Carter (Randy), Jon Davis and Kara Daivs; his grandchildren, Londyn Carter, Gavin, Ella and Corbett Davis; his siblings, Mabel Mullins (Estel), Ruth O'Quinn (Denis), Mona Hill, Ellen Mullins (Bernard), Keeta Stanley (Scott), Kathy Hale (Steve), Colleen Stanley, John Davis (Sherri), Jack Davis (Donna) and Gary Davis (Joanna); his half-brother Paul Fleming (Marie); his aunt Peg Wigginton; his nieces, Leanna Davis (Punky) and Becky Turner; and his close friend Darrell Elkins (Jen).

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to Baker Funeral Home toward funeral expenses.
