He was loved and cherished by many people including: wife: Pat Grant; stepson: Tristian Bentley Mullins; stepdaughters: Danielle Stallard (Alex) and Michelle Bentley; grandchildren: Wyatt and Eli; parents: Chalmer and Thelma (Call) Grant; sisters: Janet Rose, Betty McNeil and Phyllis Kinder; brothers: Darrell Grant and Johnny Grant; special nephew: Gary Grant; special niece: Vickie Sparks; and several nieces, nephews, cousins, friends and loved ones.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 7th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Baker Funeral Home Chapel (11316 Riverside Dr, Pound, VA 24279). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, October 7th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Wednesday, October 7th 2026 at the Powell Valley Memorial Gardens (5650 Powell Valley Rd, Big Stone Gap, VA 24219).
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the Southwest Virginia Regional Cancer Center in Norton, VA.
