She was predeceased by: her parents, Fred Lester and Pansy M. Bragg Lester; her former husband Reece Wayne Newberry; her siblings, Lisa Sluss, Patty Lester and Bill Lester; and her sister-in-law Phyllis Lester.
She is survived by: her husband James Adkins; her daughter Sandy Richardson (James); her grandchildren, Tyler Lester and Shaina Lester (Aaron Bidlack); her great grandchild Harper Bidlack; her siblings, Johnny Lester and Jane Boyd (Earl); her grandfather Joseph Harris; her sister-in-law Cathy Lester; her close friends, Dorothy "Dot" Jennelle and Jackie Hartman; and her pet Bowser. She is also survived by 14 cats.
