He is survived by: his daughters, Debbie Ball (Jeff) of Tuscaloosa and Sandra Berczek (Eugene) of Chesapeake, Virginia; his grandchildren, Ben Berczek (Brandie), Stephen Berczek (Meghan), Katie Yates, Christopher Berczek and John McCall; his great grandchildren, Benjamin Berczek, Isla Berczek and Blaire Berczek; his siblings, Louise Gilbert (Lawrence), Andy Brown (Charlene), Larry Brown (Donna), Lorene Brown and Curtis Brown (Kay); and his niece Teresa Gentry. He is also survived by several other nieces and nephews.
