With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Richard Lloyd of Pounding Mill, Virginia, born in Buchanan, Virginia, who passed away on July 20, 2023 at the age of 70. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by : his parents, George Robert and Minnie "Belcher" Lloyd; his wife Debbie Lloyd; and his siblings, Nancy Lloyd Lavelle, Edna Bonnie Lloyd, Harry Lloyd, Joe Lloyd, Dee Lloyd, Dallas Lloyd and Teddy Lloyd.

He is survived by : his son Matthew Lloyd of Pounding Mill, VA; his siblings, Ann Blankenship of Hiddenite, NC, Kim Lloyd of Hiddenite, NC, Trivett Lloyd of Fort Brag, NC and Johnny Lloyd of Pounding Mill, VA; and his pets, Tom and Murry. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews; and a host of family and friends.
