He was predeceased by: his father Carlos Hamm. He is survived by: his mother Joan Pruitt Hamm of Cedar Bluff, VA; his wife Carolyn Hamm; his sons, Matthew S. Hamm (Selina Niles) of Tazewell, VA and Daniel Isaac Hamm (Christal) of Mooresburg, Tenn.; and his sister Susan Mackey (Tom) of Tazewell, VA.. He is also survived by eight grandchildren.
