We are sad to announce that on June 15, 2025, at the age of 93, Doris Shirley Estes (Powhatan, Virginia) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her husband Robert "Bob" Estes; her children, Donna Estes, Lisa Gits (Jacques) and Robert Estes, Jr.; her grandchildren, Melissa Hutchison, Nicole Estes, Shawn Craig (Brooke), Tyler Estes (Shelly), Carly Rash, Phillip Rash and Dylan Pherson; her great grandchildren, Lauren Estes, Ryan Estes, Landon Hutchison, Holden Hutchison, Addy Bowles and Collins Dolan; her parents, George Smith and Margaret; and her siblings, Carol Rhoton (Donnie), Donnie Smith (Jean), Butch Smith (Denice), Sonny Smith (Carol), June Hendricks (Charlie) and Betty Smith.
A celebration of life will be held on Friday, June 27th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Bennett & Barden Funeral Home (3215 Anderson Hwy, Powhatan, VA 23139). A reception will be held on Friday, June 27th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Bennett and Barden Funeral Home (3215 Anderson Hwy, Powhatan, VA 23139).
