She was predeceased by: her parents, Cliford Faxton Bowlin and Rachel Ashman Bowlin; her husband Harold Davis Lowery; her siblings, Samuel W Bowlin and Mary Alice Bowlin; and her daughter Nancy Lowery Siems.
She is survived by: her daughter Melanie Dalton (David); her grandchildren, Candice Mrazik (Jeff), Julie Elmore (Andrew), Heather Newmyer (Brandon), Connor, Colton Jones and Mckenzi Watkins Rowe (Trey); and her siblings, Bruce Bowlin (Betty), Annie Mae Reyna (Don) and Nancy.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 9th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Woody Funeral Home (1020 Huguenot Rd, Midlothian, VA 23113). A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 9th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A committal service will be held on Friday, October 9th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Pine Grove Cemetery Amelia Court House.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Mattoax Presbyterian Church, 14600 Chula Rd. Amelia Virginia 23002, or the Alzheimer's Association.
