He was predeceased by: his parents, Lucille Shelton and H. V. Shelton; and his wife Ann Walker Shelton. He is survived by: his brother Bill Shelton; his sons, Elliott, Tom (Renee) and David (Sarah); and his grandchildren, Loyd, Lilly and Allison.
