He was predeceased by: his wife Doris W. Hawkins; his parents, James E. Hawkins and Irene Hawkins; his siblings, Charles Elmer Hawkins (Bone) and Evelyn Frazier; and his grandparents, Sid and Maude Golden.
He is survived by: his son Steve Hawkins (Cindy); his grandsons, James and Jackson Hawkins; and his close friend Frances Williams.
