It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Jamie Lynn Roper Hite of Powhatan, Virginia, who passed away on November 9, 2025, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. She is survived by: her sons, Willie Hite, Jr. of Powhatan and Charles R. Hite (Regina) of Powhatan; her grandchildren, Jamie (Amber), Jordan (Mike), Magee (Kevin) and Skyler (Jake); and her great grandchildren, Savannah, Kinley, Briar, Ava, Brady, Ryleigh and Nora. She is also survived by four siblings.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, November 11th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Bennett & Barden Funeral Home (3215 Anderson Hwy, Powhatan, VA 23139). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, November 12th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
