We announce the death of June Stinnett Barden (Powhatan, Virginia), who passed away on August 31, 2026, at the age of 82. June will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. She was predeceased by: her granddaughter Brittany Barden; and her son-in-law Larry Marshall. She is survived by: her husband Joseph Barden Sr.; her children, Tammy Steel, Kristy Schinabeck (Keith) and Joey Barden (Susan); her grandchildren, Brandi, Alyssa, Joseph (Danielle), Katie (Ross), Lexi and Emma; her great grandchildren, Gabby, Haley, Annie, Kole, Ryan, Kory, Gunnar and Thomas; and her siblings, Harold Dewey Stinnett and Iva Jean Cutright.
Visitation was held on Thursday, September 3rd 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Bennett & Barden Funeral Home (3215 Anderson Hwy, Powhatan, VA 23139). A funeral service was held on Thursday, September 3rd 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
