Marcia Leon Epley Obituary

Marcia Leon Epley, 83, of Bon Air, Virginia, passed away peacefully on October 19, 2025.

Born in Memphis, Tennessee, to the late Charles Leon Wilbanks and Mary Lamyra Wilbanks, Marcia spent the majority of her life in Bon Air, where she and her husband built a loving home and raised their family. She devoted her career to helping others as a Certified Medical Assistant at Chippenham Hospital, where her compassion and gentle nature left a lasting impression on both patients and coworkers.

Marcia was the beloved wife of 66 years to Donald Lynn Epley. She is also survived by her sister, Lynn Robilio. She was a devoted mother to her sons, Donnie Epley (Bonnie) and Scott Epley (Mickie). She was a proud grandmother to Taylor Fishburne (Christopher), Brittany Epley Muron, and Storm Epley, and great-grandmother to Hailey and Grayson Fishburne. She was preceded in death by her granddaughter, Ashley Epley. In addition, she leaves behind many loving nieces and nephews.

Family was the heart of Marcia's life. She found her greatest joy in time spent with her children and grandchildren, celebrating milestones, sharing meals, and creating memories that will be cherished forever. She will be remembered for her kindness, her warm smile, and her unwavering devotion to those she loved.

Though she will be deeply missed, Marcia's legacy lives on in the lives of her family and all who were fortunate enough to know her.
