He was predeceased by: his parents, William Forest Benninghove and Helen Rainey Benninghove; his wife Deloras Louise; his grandmother Miller Benninghove; and his siblings, John Bullock Jr. (Doris), Beatrice Bullock Shotwell (Thomas) and Jean Saunders (Earl).
He is survived by: his children, Gordon Michael Benninghove, Brenda Benninghove Schumacher (Bob) and Karen Benninghove Knight (Melvin); his grandchildren, Bonnie Blevins (Billy), Mandi Glidewell, Katie Glidewell and Crystal Crane (Eric); his great grandchildren, Hunner Blevins, Emma Blevins and Raelynn McDaniel; his stepgrandchildren, Schelbi Schumacher and Savanna Schumacher Ward (Cameron); and his stepgreat-granddaughter Violet Ward.
