He was predeceased by: his parents, Reginold Noah Batterson, Sr. and Margaret Short Batterson; his sister Laura Croom of Lunenburg County; and his son Mark Batterson of Henrico, VA.. He is survived by: his son Paul Batterson (Valerie) of Amelia, VA; and his grandsons, Noah, Issac and Gabriel.
Visitation was held on Monday, January 12th 2026 from 11:30 AM to 1:00 PM at the Bennett & Barden Funeral Home (3215 Anderson Hwy, Powhatan, VA 23139). A funeral service was held on Monday, January 12th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Monday, January 12th 2026 at the Old Powhatan Baptist Church (2202 Old Church Rd, Powhatan, VA 23139).
