William James Watts Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of William James Watts of Powhatan, Virginia, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on June 1, 2025 at the age of 58. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Virginia "Jenny" Perkins and Robert "Bobby" Watts; and his sister Susan Watts. He is survived by: his daughter Susan "Suzie" McGann (Sean); his granddaughter Magnolia "Maggie"; and his siblings, Robert A. Watts, Jr. (Shari), Janetta "Jan" W. Stankovich (Kaine) and Jeffrey H. Watts (Mauria). He is also survived by loving extended family — including many nieces, nephews, cousins, and lifelong friends.
Visitation will be held on Monday, June 9th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Branch's Baptist Church (3400 Broad Rock Blvd, Richmond, VA 23234). A funeral service will be held on Monday, June 9th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
