He was predeceased by: his parents, Doris Lawson and William Lawson; and his wife Carolyn Oakley Lawson. He is survived by: his sons, William "Billy" Lawson (Chana Johnson), Kenneth "Wade" Lawson (Lisa), Matthew "Cory" Lawson (Christina) and Blake Lawson; his grandchildren, Alexandra, Emily, Madison, Kayleigh, Corbin, Bryce and Kylar; and his brother Donnie Lawson (Patty).
A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, October 21st 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Merchants Hope Memorial Gardens (11302 Merchants Hope Rd, Hopewell, VA 23860).
