She is survived by: her mother Janice Smith Tisdale of Keswick, VA; her daughter Laura Elizabeth Sullivan (William); her grandchildren, Reed and Ruby of Syracuse, NY; her sister Kara Romano (John); and her nieces and nephews, Samantha, Maria, Allison, Emily, Taylor and Benjamin Romano of Glen Allen, VA. She is also survived by her family, and her love for children.

In lieu of flowers, Susan requested that donations be made toward K-12 school supplies, hygiene products, and food bank non perishables for children in need of extra help.
