With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Isaa McKinley Ross Sr. of Prospect, Virginia, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on October 3, 2025 at the age of 81. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Ross and Mary Frances Ross; his siblings, Robert Ross, George Ross, James Ross, Jacob Ross, Joseph Ross, Abraham Ross Sr., David Ross, Lorenza Ross, Sarah Payne, Frances Ross and Elmira Boisseau; his son Isaac McKinley Ross Jr.; and his granddaughter Iyonna Mingo.
He is survived by: his wife Odirisa Theresa Ross of Farmville; his daughter Shenise Ross of Prospect; his grandsons-in-law, Devenasia Jones (JW) of Prospect and Lamonie Chambers of Prospect; and his friends, James Mitchell and Jeff Warren. He is also survived by nieces, nephews cousins and friends.
A funeral service was held on Friday, October 10th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Bland-Reid Funeral Home (413 Griffin Blvd, Farmville, VA 23901).
