He was predeceased by: his parents, Tom Hudson and Rochelle Hudson; his parents-in-law, Winton and Janice Shirah; and his brother Jerry (Diane Hudson).
He is survived by: his son Jay Frederick (Erika); his wife Daphne Hudson; his siblings, Tom Hudson (Hellen) and Suzie Jimerson (Tom); his sister-in-law Lauri (Larry); his daughter Shelley Gholson (Dave); his grandchildren, Kaylee Payne (Michael), Matthew Gholson (Molly), Hannah Huici (Anthony), Jailey Hudson, Zachary Gholson, Tyler Hudson and Isaac Hudson; and his great grandchildren, Christian Huici, Amelia Payne, Aubrey Faith Huici, Micah Payne, Nolan Payne, George Huici and William Payne. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers memorial donations can be made to Colosse Baptist Church.
