He was predeceased by: his parents, Eddie Hogge and Bessie Hogge; his wives, Fannie and Pauline; and his siblings, Eugene "Buster" Hogge, John Hogge, Grace Bernoski, Marion Thrift, Agnes Johnson, Olivia Daniels and Frances Hogge.
He is survived by: his daughter Kay Carter (Robbie); his stepdaughter Pat Gwaltney (Billy); his grandchildren, Lisa Gwaltney, Mike Gwaltney (Carrie), Jennifer Ronk (Johnny) and Angela Morris (Travis); his great grandchildren, Samantha Ronk, Alayne Gwaltney, Kaylee, Kelsey and Karlie Morris; his great great grandchildren, Meisyn and Miles; and his caregivers, Jennifer, Tina, Sandy, Brenda, Danita and Lisa.
