He was predeceased by: his parents, Steve Ashley and Evelyn Ashley; and his siblings, Sonny, Tommy, Bobby and Camb Ashley.
He is survived by: his wife Pamela; his children, Brian Ashley (Kara), Taylor Miller, Amber Kurfees (Andy) and Skylar Ashley; his grandchildren, Will, Chandler, Harrison Ashley, Grayson Miller, Riggs Michael Kurfees and Rhodes Kurfees; his sister Jean Jeffreys (Michael); his sisters-in-law, Dorothy, Bertha, Wilma, Myrna Ashley and Tricia Reed (Jeff); his goddaughters, Melissa Larimer and Brooke Shores; and his pet Timber. He is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, August 20th 2026 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Vincent Funeral Home (417 11th St, West Point, VA 23181). A funeral service was held on Friday, August 21st 2026 at 3:00 PM at the Lower King and Queen Baptist Church (204 Timber Branch Rd, Mascot, VA 23108).
