She is survived by: her children, Stephanie Roane of Chesterfield Va and Steven Adkins Sr. of Providence Forge; her grandchildren, Nicholas Jones, Steven Adkins Jr., Christopher Adkins, Brent Thomas, Alicia Adkins and Alivia Adkins; and her sisters, Shirley Hickman of Augusta Ga and Gail Greene (Stewart). She is also survived by eight great-grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends.
