She was predeceased by: her parents, William Taft Cotman, Sr. and Savannah Virginia Adkins Cotman; her siblings, Prince Edward Cotman (Infant), Helen Marie Cotman McCray and William Taft Cotman, Jr.; her husband Edmond Christian, Sr.; and her son Edmond Christian, Jr..
She is survived by: her daughters, Joyce C. Charity (family: Joseph, Lanisha, Julian, Brooke, Judith, Jewell) and Lisa C. Brown (family: Kevin, Jr., Brandi, Leah, Reggie, Erika, Jacob); her son-in-law Kevin Sr.; her daughter Norma Perdue (Jesse Purdue); her siblings, Elizabeth Haith (Ross), Catherine Rich, Jean Taylor (David), Ruth Bethune (Charles), Savannah Bowen (Larry), Gayle Jones and Robert E. Cotman, Sr.; and her close friends, Muriel Adkins, Brad Bradby, Karen Canaday, Esther Cannada, Anne, Michael Holmes, Merle, Drue Holmes, Michelle Sweeney, Roger and Chelene Wynn. She is also survived by daughters; and a host of extended family members and friends.
