He was predeceased by: his parents, Warren Harden Sutherlin, Sr. of Middlesex, VA and Arna Ozella Coles Sutherlin of New Kent County; his brothers, John Coles, Stanley Sutherlin, Calvin Sutherlin and Keith Braxton; and his aunt Ola Jones.
He is survived by: his wife Queen Elizabeth Morris Sutherlin; his children, Lavoris Sutherlin of Portsmouth, Ozella Scott (Spencer) of Portsmouth and Antwan Terrell Sutherlin of Richmond; his grandchildren, Justin Halley Scott, Aurora Scott, Paris Xaviera Ozella Sutherlin, Kellan Spencer Sutherlin, Ava Elizabeth Sutherlin and Sascha Lochlan Sutherlin; his great grandchildren, Corben Scott Granlund, Anani Rio Granlund and Abriel Scott; and his sisters, Delores Bluford (David) of Texas and Maxine White of Williamsburg. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins and great friends.
