He was predeceased by : his parents, Ogle "Tom" Powers and Gertrude Powers of Pulaski, VA.; and his siblings, Bob Powers, Tom Powers (Joyce), Bonnie Linkous (David) and Betty Honaker (Lawrence).

He is survived by : his wife Glenda Powers (Taylor); his son Billy C. Powers Jr. (Leesa); his brother Randy Powers (Sherry); his grandchildren, Michelle Crisp (Mark) and Brandon Tyler Powers (Ashley Heaps); his great grandchildren, Lucas Crisp, Amelia and Asher Powers; his niece Amy; and his great-nieces, Lydia and Emma Blizzard.
