He was predeceased by : his parents, Carranzee Barrier and Mary Sudie Mosteller Barrier; his father-in-law Calvin (Sylvia Street Cline); his son Kenneth E. "Kenny" Barrier; his brothers, David and Russell Barrier; and his brother-in-law Joseph Craig.

He is survived by : his wife Cathy Cline Barrier; his child Little Rocky Barrier; his grandchildren, Brianna Kemper (Kayla), Tre Barrier (Ashlyn), Taylor Barrier (Jeremiah) and Dani Barrier; his great grandchildren, Ava Barrier and Colson Fender; and his sisters, Lucille Craig and Mary Ann Carter (Wiley). He is also survived by Several nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
