He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Catherine Sowers and Jimmy Holcomb; his brother Robert "Bob" Holcomb; his stepfather John Sowers; his wife Susan Holcomb; his children, Tiffany Payne (Shannon Payne), Kasey Holcomb and Jonathan Holcomb (Logan Wescott); his grandson James Payne; his brothers, Charles "Tom" Holcomb (Paula Holcomb) and Donald "Don" Holcomb (Alice Holcomb); his aunt Shirley Smith; and his siblings-in-law, Walter "Mack" McGrady (Debbie McGrady), Debbie Holcomb and Michelle Walker (Steven Walker). He was also cherished by nieces and nephews.
