He is survived by: his wife Peggy Ann Stephens Johnson; his stepchildren, David Handy, Pulaski, Brian Handy (Vicky), Dublin and Linda Haney (Terry); his stepgranddaughters, Tara Phillippi (Doug) and Erin Haney (Zack O'Dell); and his great grandchild Alex Phillippi.
A graveside service will be held on Monday, June 9th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Thornspring United Methodist Church Cemetery (5670 Thornspring Church Rd, Pulaski, VA 24301).
