We announce the death of Kermit Dwayne Bailey Sr. (Pulaski, Virginia), who passed away on September 13, 2026, at the age of 78. He was predeceased by: his parents, James Alton Bailey and Clara Ethel Agee Bailey; his wife Linda Sue Adams Bailey; and his siblings, Melvin "Sonny" Bailey, Benny Bailey, Bobby Bailey and Wanda Stevenson (Joe).
He is survived by: his son Kermit Bailey, Jr.; his daughter-in-law Christine Bailey; his grandchildren, Nathan Bailey (Lexi), Nick Bailey, Grace Anne Bailey, Audrey Sutherland Whitley (Griffin), Douglas Sutherland, Jackson Coal Sutherland, Colin Bailey and Conner Bailey; his great grandchild Carter James Bailey; his siblings, Karen Hartwell and James "Doug" Bailey (Debbie); and his close friend Jack Parsons.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, October 3rd 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Camp Creek West Virginia State Park.
