He was predeceased by: his father William E. Riffey Jr.; and his brother Shaun E. Riffey. He is survived by: his wife Melody Riffey; his mother Joanne "Jody" Riffey of Pulaski, VA; his son Ryan Riffey (Sara May) of Belspring, VA; his grandson Johnathan of Lynchburg, VA; his stepson Sam Williams (Johnathan); his grandchildren, Matthew and Gabrielle "Gabby"; his siblings, William "Skip" Riffey (Debbie) of Greensboro, NC, Timothy "Bo" Riffey (Laura) of Hillsville, VA and Tressa Goughenour (Jim) of Greensboro, NC; and his cousin Margaret "Peggy" O'Brien of Georgetown, MA. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews, cousins and friends.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, August 2nd 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Edward's Catholic Church (700 N Washington Ave, Pulaski, VA 24301). A funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, August 2nd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Humane Society of the New River Valley or First Presbyterian Church-Pulaski Daily Bread-Food Distribution Center, The American Cancer Society, St. Jude Catholic Church in Christiansburg, VA or St. Edward's Catholic Church of Pulaski, VA.
