He was predeceased by: his parents, Bud Anderson and Rosa Belle Young Shepherd; and his wife Gloria Annette O'Dell Shepherd. He is survived by: his children, Carrie Hall (Charles Farlow), Robin S. Foster, Levon Lloyd, Jr., David G. Shepherd (Nancy), Eric N. Shepherd (Melissa) and Matthew J. Shepherd (Samantha); and his sister Barbara Shepherd Ratliff. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
