She was predeceased by : her parents, Sally Byrd and Bill Byrd; her daughter Wanda; her son-in-law Jimmy Blevins; and her granddaughter Freda Semones.

She is survived by : her husband Arvil Quesenberry of Pulaski; her son Robert F. Newman (Judy) of Roanoke; her grandchildren, Robyn Skidmore (Mark) of Roanoke and Steve Manning (Shelia) of Roanoke; and her close friend Eddie Duncan of Dublin. She is also survived by several great-grandchildren: several nieces and nephews.
