It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Nelson Miller Wert Sr. of Pulaski, Virginia, who passed away on September 28, 2023, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his parents, Charles Alfred Wert and Violet Freed Wert. He is survived by : his brother Richard; his sister-in-law Joan Wert; his sister Kathryn Quinn of Pennsylvania; his sister-in-law Francis Hufford of Waynesboro, Virginia; his brother Charles Wert of Red Hill, Pennsylvania.; his son Nelson Miller Wert, Jr. of Pulaski; his sister Dorothy Tomlinson of Allentown, Pennsylvania.; and also Shawn Wert.

In lieu of flowers, it is requested that donations be made to the Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church Men's Group or to the church's youth group.
