She was predeceased by: her parents, Douglas Elkins and Edith Elkins; her husband James Robert Viers Sr.; her siblings, Alberta Elkins Arrington and Charles Douglas Elkins; her daughter-in-law Vicki Taylor Viers; and her grandsons, Graeson Blaine Viers and James Parker Viers.
She is survived by: her son James Robert Viers Jr.; her grandson Robert Andrew Viers; her son Jeffrey Renwick Viers (Rebecca Viers); her granddaughter Candice Viers Scott (Michael Vincent Scott); her stepgrandchildren, Jordan Rebecca Hill and Hunter Preston Hill; and her great grandchildren, Lincoln and Skye Scott.
