Phyllis Hope Vance Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Phyllis Hope Vance of Pulaski, Virginia, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on May 27, 2025 at the age of 85. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Phyllis Hope Vance to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Edward Farley Vance, Sr. and Amy Agnes Kiser Vance; her daughter Teresa Ann Merideth; her siblings, Betty Lou Vance Billips, Joyce N. Vance Smith, Mary Sue Vance O'Donnell, Peggy Gail Vance, James Arthur Vance, Edward Farley Vance, Jr. and Billy H. Vance; and her half-brother Mack Vance.
She is survived by: her children, Perry Scott Riggin, Darin Gene Riggin, Susan Hope Riggin Garlich and Aimee Elizabeth Riggin Kincer; and her sister Brenda Faith Vance. She is also survived by 13 Grandchildren and many Great Grandchildren and Great Great Grandchildren.
A graveside service will be held on Monday, June 2nd 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Grandview Memory Gardens (38659 Gov George C. Peery Hwy, Bluefield, VA 24605).
In lieu of flowers, Phyllis wanted donations in her memory to be made to the Southwest Cancer Center – Pulaski (Lewis-Gale Hospital).
