He was predeceased by: his parents, James and Melva; and his brother J. W. (Walleye). He is survived by: his son Jabe (Amber) of Seven Lakes, NC.; his grandchildren, Ella Whitley (James Earl Whitley) of Dudley, NC, Isaiah Largen and Olivia Largen of Seven Lakes; Johnny Pope.
