She was predeceased by : her parents, Louis Walls and Mary Etta Draughn; her husband Chester Darrell "Chet" Surratt; her son Paul Keven Surratt; and her brothers, Jerry Lee Childress of Dublin and Monty Anthony "Sam" Childress of Poolsville, MD..
She is survived by : her son George Allen (Barbara) of Galax; her grandsons, David Allen Surratt, Jason Paul Surratt, Paul Kevin Surratt II and Phillip Young; her daughter-in-law June Anderson Surratt of Speedwell; her sister-in-law Loretta Horne Surratt; and her brother Arvin Daniel "Ronnie" Childress (Jan) of Sacramento, CA. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
